Key Change:
From 3rd February 2025, the NHS App will no longer support older operating systems on iPhone and Android; ios 12 and Android 6 & 7. Patients using the following versions will lose access to the app and will need to use the NHS App via a web browser instead
Who is affected?
- An estimated 6,500 iOS users and 5,500 Android users who only have access to a single device.
- iOS 13 & 14 users can update their phones to iOS 15 to maintain access.
What this means for patients who are affected;
- They can no longer use the NHS App via the mobile app.
- They must log in via a web browser instead.
- In-app notifications have been sent since May 2024 to alert affected users
